CHATSWORTH HOUSE HOTEL, LLANDUDNO, N. WALES

Places of Interest

Within easy reach from the hotel, you can enjoy all the attractions for which Llandudno is famous with its ample choice of quality shops (two new departments stores are under construction - BHS and Debenhams) and theatres. Llandudno offers entertainment for all, and of course, the rich Welsh musical tradition means that there are plenty of concerts in the area. Everyone should visit Professor Codman's Wooden Headed Follies and journey on Great Britain's longest cable car or ride up 220 metres on the funicular railway to the breathtaking views of the Great Orme. Llandudno is a magical place for children as befits the town where Lewis Carroll - the Reverend Charles Dodgson - met the little girl who inspired "Alice in Wonderland". For the more energetic, Llandudno offers one of Britain's longest dry ski slope and toboggan riding all year round.

The Chatsworth is also situated near to the natural surroundings of Snowdonia National Park and many famous castles, National Trust properties and stately homes are within easy reach. Golf courses adorn the coastline and other sporting activities are also within easy reach, making the hotel an ideal base for touring the entire North Wales area.
